Restaurant Mode

QR. Menu. Order. Kitchen. Bill.

A browser-based digital menu and a direct operating flow for dine-in, pickup, and delivery. No customer app. No marketplace in the middle.

The Restaurant day

One clear loop from scan to report

The core workflow stays visible. Supporting tools make it stronger without turning Bite Baba into a heavy POS.

  1. 01

    QR

Table QR, shared dine-in QR, or a poster at the counter.

  7. 07

    Report

Monthly sales and customer views, with PDF when you need a record.

QR digital menu

Your live menu on every customer phone.

Customers scan a table QR, a shared dine-in QR, or a poster and browse in the phone browser. There is nothing to install and no customer account to create.

Browser based
The menu opens from a QR or direct link on the phone the guest already has.
Table-aware
A table QR carries the table; a shared dine-in QR lets the guest choose an active table.
Easy to browse
Search and categories help customers reach the right item quickly.
Always current
Prices, variants, add-ons, and availability come from the live menu.

Live order operations

Dine-in reaches Bite Baba. The team moves it forward.

A submitted dine-in order lands directly in the live order view. The team can see the context and move it through preparation, service, billing, and completion.

Pending → preparing
New orders are visible and can be accepted into the kitchen flow.
Preparing → served
The board shows where each order is in the service cycle.
Table context
Dine-in orders retain the table information supplied through the QR flow.
Bill and complete
Served orders can continue into Simple Billing and manual payment recording.

Menu control

Keep the menu accurate without reprinting it

The digital menu is an operating surface, not a photograph of a paper menu. Control what guests can find, choose, and order.

01

Categories + items

Organise the menu the way guests browse it, with searchable and filterable items.

02

Variants + add-ons

Offer sizes, preparations, or extras without creating a confusing paper menu.

03

Availability + sold out

Pause an item from ordering when the kitchen cannot serve it, then restore it later.

04

Veg / Egg / Non-veg

Show the food type with text and an icon so guests do not have to guess.

05

Optional item images

Use product images where they help the menu. The menu still works cleanly without them.

06

CSV import

Bring in a larger menu through the supported import workflow and review it in Bite Baba.

Pickup + delivery

Save the order first. Hand off to WhatsApp second.

Pickup and delivery do not skip Bite Baba. The order is recorded first, then the customer can continue with a ready-made WhatsApp message. Bite Baba does not provide riders or marketplace logistics.

  1. 01

    Customer order

The customer completes pickup or delivery details.

  2. 02

    Saved in Bite Baba

The business gets a real order record before the hand-off.

  3. 03

    WhatsApp hand-off

A ready-made message can continue the conversation.

Billing

Finish the order with a clear bill and payment record.

Create a Simple Bill from a completed Restaurant order, print it or save it as PDF, and record the payment method yourself.

Simple Bills
Clear order-based bills are available across the plans.
Manual payment records
Record Cash, UPI, Card, or Mixed payment. Bite Baba does not collect the money online.
Optional GST invoices
GST invoice generation is presented for eligible Plus and Pro memberships.
No tax overclaim
Bite Baba does not file GST returns and is not marketed as GST-compliant software.

Customers + operations

The useful tools around the main service loop

Keep the customer record, restaurant controls, team access, and reporting close to the work without giving every feature a giant visual.

01

Customers

Build a directory and order history from real customers instead of losing context in chat threads.

02

Restaurant discounts

Create discount codes for Restaurant orders and keep the pricing decision inside the business.

03

Business hours

Use weekly hours and overrides. The public menu stays visible while ordering is paused.

04

Restaurant staff

Plus and Pro add order-counter staff. They cannot manage billing, menu, settings, or subscription.

05

QR posters + tables

Print a shared poster, table-specific codes, or a shared dine-in QR that asks for the table.

06

Reports + service tools

Review operational reports, export PDF, and optionally show a call button or delivery pin.

Put the QR on the table.

Start Free, build the menu, and print your first poster. Choose Restaurant during onboarding.
